DIGIT is an open-source, microservices-based public digital infrastructure developed by eGovernments Foundation to transform service delivery, with dedicated modules for comprehensive water and sanitation management. The platform connects citizens, employees, and administrators through unified interfaces for seamless and reliable information exchange. DIGIT has evolved over 22 years into a mature public service delivery platform system which addresses four key areas: Urban Local Governance, Public Health, Finance Management, and Sanitation. Its Fecal Sludge Management (FSM) module handles the complete service chain from scheduling desludging to treatment, integrating operations across all stakeholders. DIGIT's cloud-native architecture includes containerized applications, 50+ open APIs, multi-tenant support for 4,360+ tenants, and real-time operational dashboards.
